Player Guide & Wiki

Everything you can do, which button to press, and why it matters — on computer (keyboard) and phone (on-screen buttons). Press H in-game any time to see the short version.

🚀 Getting started

1. Open cialand.com and press Play.
2. Click the world once to lock your mouse so you can look around. Esc frees it again (to open menus).
3. You land on the spawn plaza with everyone else, by the “Welcome to Cialand” sign.
4. Follow the quest in the top-left card — your first goal is to gather flint.
5. Optional: tap the 👤 Sign in button (top-right) so your coins, plots and friends save across devices.

🚶 Move & look

Why jump matters: jumping uses a little energy, and lets you hop over low rocks, fences and benches.

❤️ Stay alive: food, water, energy

Bottom-left you’ll see your survival bars. They drain slowly as you play — and they matter: at zero food or zero water your health slowly drains (the bar warns you with “starving!” / “dehydrated!”). Low energy makes you move slower. Eat, drink and rest to stay strong — healing only happens when you’re fed, watered and rested.

1. Walk to a river, lake or the sea until you’re standing in the water.
2. Press E (phone: the contextual action button) — your water bar fills up.

Why drink: it’s the only way to refill the water bar, and water is everywhere — rivers run right past the spawn plaza.

How to recover energy — two ways

🪓 Gather: chop, mine, dig

Why gather: wood + stone build your home and craft tools; flint makes the best tools. Phone: the big action button becomes “Chop / Mine” when you face a tree or rock.

🏹 Hunt & cook

1. Throw stones at an animal — F (uses 1 stone from your bag). Bigger animals take more hits. You can also punch with Q up close.
2. They drop raw meat — walk over it to pick it up.
3. Stand next to a lit torch for ~12 seconds; the raw meat cooks.
4. Press E to eat — cooked meat gives +35 food (raw only +8).

Why cook: cooked meat is the most filling food in the game. Build a torch at your campsite (see Decorate).

🎣 Fishing & cycles

Go fishing calm food + trade good

1. Craft a fishing rod in your inventory (I) — costs 3 wood + 1 stone.
2. Stand near a river, lake or the sea and press F to cast the line.
3. Watch the bobber. When it dips, press F again quickly to land the fish.
4. Cook fish at a lit torch for food, or sell them to Arun at the Oakwell stall.

Ride a cycle get around fast

1. Find a cycle stand (Cia Plaza, Main Avenue, or Arrival Plaza). Press E to rent one — 10 🪙 per hour.
2. Ride with WASD; press B to ring the bell.
3. Press Space to hop off. Press E at any stand to return the cycle and stop the meter.

⚒️ Craft tools

Press I to open your inventory. Recipes light up when you have the ingredients — click to craft.

🏠 Build, plant & decorate

Build a house

1. Press X to open the build menu (phone: ☰ → Build).
2. Pick a piece (wall, floor, door, roof, bed, chest) — number keys 1–0 switch pieces while building.
3. Place it in front of you. Build a bed so you can sleep (Z) through the night.

Grow a garden more food

1. Face grass and press Shift+E to turn it into a garden patch.
2. Press Shift+E again on the patch to plant a seed from your bag.
3. Come back later (it grows even while you’re away) and press E to harvest food + seeds.

Decorate

Press Y for the decoration picker → choose a lantern, bench, planter, statue or torch → “Place ahead”. Press R (while the picker is open) to rotate the last thing you placed.

🪧 Own land, rank & coins

Claim a plot — press O (“Own”)

1. Walk onto a patch of empty land and press O (phone: ☰ → Land).
2. It tells you which plot you’re on. Tap Claim this plot — your first plot is free.
3. Now it’s yours: build freely, and others can’t build or wreck it. A sign with your name appears.
4. From the same panel: Set as Home, Rename, Go Home (teleport back), or Release.

Extra plots cost coins: 100 → 250 → 500 🪙 (up to 4 plots). The plaza & the Blogrator office are public — nobody can claim them.

🪙 Coins & ⭐ rank

You earn Cia Coins by finishing the daily goal, unlocking achievements, your login streak, and gifts from friends. Your rank (a number + title, top-right) goes up as you earn coins, achievements, plots and streak days:

1 Newcomer · 2 Settler · 3 Builder · 4 Homesteader · 5 Architect · 6 Master Builder · 7 Cialand Legend

Press L for the 🏆 Awards screen to see achievement progress.

🏙️ City & services

New Cia City has real buildings you can use. Walk up to the counter or desk and press E.

🛍️ Shop, titles & looks

• Shop — press N (phone: ☰ → Shop). Spend coins on name titles (worn above your head, e.g. “Explorer”, “Cia Tycoon”) and premium colours.
• Customize your character — press C. Change shirt / pants / skin, and wear premium colours you bought.
• Titles you can’t buy are earned: some unlock at a rank, and special ones only during seasonal events.

🤝 Friends, emotes & visiting

🎉 Seasonal events

An event is always running, matched to the world’s season — Spring Bloom 🌸, Summer Fair ☀️, Harvest Days 🍂, Winter Festival ❄️ (chip shown top-left). While it’s on, finishing your daily goal pays bonus coins and grants an event-only title you can’t get any other way. Why log in this week: those titles disappear when the season turns.

📱 Playing on a phone

• Move: left joystick. Look: drag the right side. Jump: the Jump button.
• The big action button changes to fit what’s in front of you: “Chop” by a tree/rock, “Open” at a chest/office, “★ Places” at the featured board, “Eat” when you have food, “Throw” when you have stones.
• Everything else is in the ☰ menu (top-right): Bag, Chat, Multiplayer, How to play, Journal, Awards, Land, People, Shop, Account, Customize, Decorate, Build, Minimap, Photo, Hide HUD, Sleep, Camera, Cart.
• Play in landscape (turn the phone sideways) for the best view.
